Vision Coverage

Vision Insurance is a form of insurance that provides coverage for the services rendered by eye care professionals such as ophthalmologists and optometrists. The typical Vision Insurance plan provides yearly coverage for eye examinations and partial or full coverage for eyeglasses, prescription sunglasses, and contact lenses.  Depending on the the plan chosen, services may be obtained with or without copays.  If there is a provider network with the plan, members receive the greatest value if they elect to visit a participating provider.  Services and materials obtained out-of-network usually have an additional copay or a smaller discount applied.

As employers look to increase the benefit packages available to their employees, group Vision Insurance is becoming attractive as a voluntary plan.  Ochs, Inc. can provide additional information and proposals on a group vision plan. Please contact us for more information.
